  Star SP-700 Receipt Printer

The Star SP700 two color receipt printer is packaged in a small footprint and is ideal for Point of Sale, credit card, restaurant, barcode, hospitality, and kiosk applications.

At 4.7 lines per second print speed, the Star SP700 receipt printer is among the fastest dot matrix receipt printers currently on the market.

The Star SP700 impact dot matrix receipt printer is built specifically to work in environments where heat and humidity can erode the type on the kitchen order. The fast two-color capable Star SP700 receipt printer offers crisp, clear type for easy viewing, clamshell design for easy paper loading and an internal power supply for space efficiency.

The Star Micronics SP700 series receipt printer offers two models, each with a choice of four communications interfaces, the Star SP712 tear bar receipt printer model, and the Star SP742 auto cutter receipt printer model.

For communications, the Star SP700 series receipt printer is available with either parallel (IEEE1284),serial (RS232C), USB (Universal Serial BUS) or Ethernet interfaces. Aesthetic integration is fostered by the availability of two popular case colors: charcoal/dark gray and beige/putty.

The Star SP700 receipt printer print head contains the latest in print head technology, providing improved response times and increased reliability over previously available technology. This 9-pin print head, allows the Star SP700 series receipt printer to print high-quality graphics and extended characters. The logic seeking mechanism of the Star Micronics SP700 series receipt printer increases the efficiency of the print mechanism, while also aiding in improving print speed.
